Dad's Day

We did our best to make Jesse's Father's Day special. He'd been out of town all week, he's just getting over being sick, and work has been really stressful for him recently. We made a sign and Drew colored a card for him. We also let him sleep in while we made a big breakfast and had a yummy roast for dinner. It probably doesn't sound like much, but we had some low-key family time and really enjoyed having our hubby/daddy back.
Believe it or not, Drew and Jesse picked this hat out at the dollar store. It's his "highly visible hat." It's a lot harder to lose him in a crowd now, which comes in handy sometimes.
Jesse's really enjoying Corbin. He's getting really interactive and fun, and yes, he still has that gorgeous red hair. Jesse and especially Drew had fun playing with this giant box. Drew likes talking on the phone (and hanging up on people) in his box house.
Drew is actually the one behind the camera here. He loves to play with the camera, and he finally figured out how to take pictures. Pretty decent for his first day on the job.We enjoyed our whole day with Jesse. He is a talented and hard-working provider and an adoring and affectionate husband and father. We love him tons!

Wow- that hat is AWESOME! Maybe I should find something like that for David. Corbin is getting so big and it's the weirdest thing to look at him because I see like every person in your family but at the same time I can't quite put my finger on who it is that he looks like! I love that picture on your sidebar of you in the purple shirt holdong Corbin- so cute!

It looks like you guys had a good time. Jesse is working hard. I know how hard it is to have your husband gone so much. I Hope it slowes down soon. We miss you!
