We took the kids to the zoo on Tuesday. There was a playground there, and we decided to stop there before we were too crazed by sweat and gnats to care.
As we were getting the kids out of the car at the zoo we found that Corbin had left us a present. I was in the process of setting him down in the stroller when I noticed my hands and arms were sticky and Corbin's back was wet. He had pooped all up his back, so we got to deal with that before doing any zooing.
This was one of the first things we saw. There was a big caged in field that said there was a Rhino in it, but we couldn't find a Rhino anywhere. Then we found a sign (at the bottom left of the picture) that explained why. It said "vanishing animal". I didn't know animals could do that!
This python was HUGE!
Drew's favorite animals were the flamingos. He just wanted to sit and watch them forever. He was so cute about it. Ty wasn't as impressed, though, and kept trying to get Drew to leave.
It was fun to take the kids out, but it sure would have been nicer if it were air conditioned and bug-proofed. This Georgia weather's getting old FAST!
